UcanACT at World Physiotherapy Congress 2025, Tokyo, Japan
The UcanACT project was featured at the World Physiotherapy Congress 2025, held in Tokyo, Japan, from 29 to 31 May 2025. The Congress brought together leading physiotherapy professionals, researchers, and innovators worldwide, with approximately 4,000 participants in attendance this year. The UcanACT Consortium is proud to contribute to the global dialogue on advancing physiotherapy practice and research.
Our e-poster presentation, titled Urban Action Against Cancer (UcanACT): Physical Activity in Public Urban Green Spaces for Cancer Prevention, was presented by Fran Theron of our partner, the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). The presentation highlighted UcanACT’s innovative methodology and the evaluation of its pilot rounds.
This opportunity allowed us to share key insights from the project with an international audience and to engage in valuable exchanges with peers across continents.
