UcanACT at the 35th ONCE Congress of Physiotherapy in Madrid, Spain

UcanACT Consortium partner, the Escuela Universitaria de Fisioterapia de la ONCE, affiliated with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, hosted the 35th edition of its Physiotherapy Congress on 7-8 March 2025. The event, organised in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Physiotherapists (AEF) and the Spanish Society of Oncology Physiotherapy (SEFIO), attracted over 250 participants.

This year's theme - Physiotherapy in Oncology - provided a valuable opportunity for both novice physiotherapists to explore new challenges and seasoned professionals to deepen their knowledge on key topics such as cancer pathophysiology, physiotherapy approaches, the benefits of therapeutic exercise, and managing the long-term effects of the disease.

The ONCE Team proudly represented the UcanACT project with a poster presentation, and the UcanACT Consortium is proud to have the project disseminated at the highly regarded event.
